NORBUSANG, the annual choir festival

Since 1987, hundreds of children and youth are gathered at the yearly choir festival NORBUSANG. Each year it takes place in a different nordic city. The festival, a hectic three day event, lets choirs sing under guidance of famous directors from the nordic countries. The young choir members are divided into mixed groups and get to sing everything from classical music to folklore, pop, jazz, gospel and contemporary art music. Other forms of artistic expression such as movement and dance is also an incorporated in the various classes.

Not only for children

At NORBUSANG focus is also placed on events aimed at choir leaders and directors. Seminars, lectures and workgroups on music and pedagogy bring deeper knowledge and renewed inspiration for music leaders to bring back home.
